Frequently Asked Questions

Is Panzer Bricklabs for you?

Our kits are created with collectors and experienced builders in mind, generally recommended for ages 12 and up. While the models are sturdy enough to be picked up and displayed confidently, they are not intended to function as toys. Many builds include small, delicate details and advanced techniques that require patience, fine motor skills, and careful handling during assembly.

These models prioritize aesthetics and historical accuracy over play features, making them ideal for hobbyists who enjoy detailed building experiences and high-quality display pieces.

Do you use real LEGO® bricks?

Yes. All of our models are built using genuine, official LEGO® elements. We also incorporate BrickArms® accessories for small arms and specialized equipment, and we are an authorized BrickArms reseller.

Panzer Bricklabs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or support our products. We simply use official bricks to ensure the highest quality and compatibility.

What do the difficulty ratings mean?

It depends. All Panzer Bricklabs kits are assigned a recommended skill level ranging from Level 1 to 5.

  • Level of 1 or 2 will generally be easy to build for beginners and intermediate-level builders.
  • Level 3 kits are more suited for intermediate and advanced builders, who are able to build weaker and more complex sub-assemblies and can cleanly incorporate them in a larger assembly.
  • Level 4 kits will require the builder to possess fine-motor skills and patience to handle unrestrained positioning connections and unorthodox techniques, such as tire stretching and force-fitting. Most of our offerings fall into this category.
  • Level 5 kits offer a challenge for all but the most experienced of builders.

What goes into the cost of a Panzer Bricklabs kit?

Our pricing reflects the use of new, official LEGO® elements and BrickArms® accessories, including certain rare or out-of-production parts that can be more expensive to source. All custom UV printing is produced in-house, and each model is fully designed from the ground up with original, manually created instructions. Kits are sorted and packed by hand, which adds additional labor to the production process.

Why are your kits more expensive than other brands?

We rely on official LEGO® pieces and BrickArms® accessories rather than manufacturing our own components, so our material costs differ from companies that produce bricks at scale. Custom printing, original design work, and manual preparation also contribute to the final price.

These kits are intended for collectors and advanced builders. If you’re looking for lower-priced, play-focused sets, our models may not be the right fit.

Where are you located, and do you ship internationally?

Panzer Bricklabs is based in New York, USA, and we do ship worldwide. Please note that international orders often have unpredictable delivery timelines, as transit speeds vary by country and carrier.

Buyers are also responsible for any import duties, taxes, or additional fees charged by their destination country. These costs are determined by local customs policies and are not included in our product prices or shipping rates.

For more details, please visit our Store Policy page.

How long does it take for my order to ship?

Please refer to our Story Policy page.

Why was I charged a customs fee on my international order?

Customs fees, import taxes, and duties are not charged by Panzer Bricklabs—they are imposed by your country’s customs agency when a package enters the border. These fees vary widely depending on your country’s laws, the value of the shipment, and local government policies.

Because each country handles imports differently, we cannot predict or control these charges, and they are the responsibility of the buyer. Your postal service or courier may also add their own handling fees when collecting customs payments.

Please note: We do not mark packages as gifts or undervalue shipments. All orders are declared accurately in accordance with customs regulations.

For more details about international orders, please see our Shipping Information page.
