PzGr. 39/1 (APCBC-HE) L/71
The first rendition of Armor-Piercing ammunition compatible with KwK 43 and PaK 43 guns. Used from 1943 onwards, with the introduction of the PaK 43.
PzGr. 39/43 (APCBC-HE) L/71
The second and more common type of Armor-Piercing ammunition. Identical to the 39/1 but with the addition of wider driving bands that reduced barrel wear rate and mitigated pressure loss when firing.
Sprgr. 43 (HE) L/71
General purpose High-Explosive ammunition. Weight class IV. Used from 1943 onwards, with the introduction of the PaK 43.
