History:
The 8.8 cm FlaK 36 was a German anti-aircraft gun developed from the earlier FlaK 18 and became one of the most recognizable artillery weapons of World War II. Originally intended for engaging high-altitude aircraft, its high muzzle velocity, accuracy, and powerful 88 mm ammunition also made it exceptionally effective against armored vehicles.
