History:
The A34 Cruiser Tank Comet was the final British cruiser tank to see service during the Second World War, entering combat in the closing months of 1945. Developed from the concept of the earlier A27M Cromwell, the Comet was designed to correct many of the Cromwell’s shortcomings while retaining its excellent mobility and low profile.
