History:
The Char B1 was a French infantry tank conceived in the early 1920s as a char de bataille — a “battle tank” designed to break through fortified lines, destroy enemy gun emplacements, and engage opposing armor.
Today, ten examples survive. This model is based on the Char B1 bis “Rhône,” preserved in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France, whose camouflage pattern inspired the design of this particular model.

The only issue is the turret is very wobbly and has not enough friction to keep it pointing the direction I'd like it to. Me opening and closing my office door creates enough of a draft to rotate the turret ever so slightly. Other than that it's a great model to be sat next to my lego S35.
Hello Kieran,
Thank you kindly for taking the time to provide us with your feedback! This is a very interesting issue you've brought to our attention regarding the turret. The model we've tested in our showroom appears to have a bit more friction to it, although not as much in comparison to the S35. We'd love to see how you've put it together, and from there, we can diagnose whether it is a QC issue or an assembly issue, and if we could potentially assist in its resolution.
Looking forward to your response! We would love to assist in any way we possibly can!
Sincerely,
Arm H
this looks great, the colors make it a fun add to the collection.
Thank you kindly for the review Rob! We're glad you love the colors!
This is an excellent model and a true masterclass in terms of building techniques used to achieve clever angles and connections. Perfect addition to any Battle of France MOCS. Highly recommend!
