History:

One of the most famous vehicles during the Second World War, the M18 Hellcat was a U.S. tank destroyer developed in 1943 that saw service during the Pacific Campaign, Italian Campaign, and Operation Overlord on the Western Front, as well as in other conflicts after WWII. It had the highest overall kill-to-loss ratio compared to all other Allied tanks in WWII.

Much of the praise was directed towards its high speed and maneuverability through rough terrain and ground conditions. Its reliability and ease of maintenance were also highly praised by its crews. Though the preference for a larger and more effective gun presented to the Tank Destroyer Battalions in the form of the M36 began to replace existing tank destroyers in service, the M18 is a very successful and iconic vehicle that paved the way for future tank designs.

Perfect

Just wanted to say this model in this scale is astonishing. The build process was unique and interesting, and the tank itself is a nice addition to my collection!

Hello Dylan,

Very well said, thank you kindly for leaving a review! We're glad to see that you've not only gained a new model to display, but also learned some of the techniques that go into it!

Great build the turret can be a little fragile but nothing unacceptable for 1/45

Hi Anton,

Thanks for the review! The build looks great! Thank you for the valuable feedback! We hope to address this slight pain point in our next design iterations!

Stoked on the build

The first 1:45 scale model I've purchased and one of the most sophisticated designs in my collection. The instructions were clear, but there could've been some improvements in the order the vehicle was put together. Once completed the design is sturdy and pose able
