History:

The SOMUA S35 was a French cavalry tank developed in the mid-1930s in response to updated vehicle specifications from the French Cavalry branch. Armed with the excellent 47 mm SA35 gun and protected by up to 47 mm of frontal armor, the S35 could defeat all contemporary medium tanks of the era while resisting their fire in return.

Of the approximately 440 built, only four SOMUA S35s survive today. One resides in the Musée des Blindés in Saumur, France, whose camouflage pattern serves as the inspiration for this particular model.
